After 3 years abroad, the 2020 Spartan 24 Hour Ultra World Championship will take place in Killington, Vermont on Sept 18-19.

Spartan introduced their 24 hour version of an obstacle race back in Iceland back in 2017. It took place again there in 2018.Last year, they event moved to Sweden.

Killington is one of Spartan’s legendary venues, hosting the first ever Spartan UltraBeast back in 2012, and becoming a must try Beast and UltraBeast location for Spartan fanatics, every year since.

This year’s event will have a special Friday Noon EST start time, and will end 24 hours later. There will be no other distances running at this time. On Sunday September 20th, Spartan will a Super distance race.

Distance, and rules for this years 24 Hour Championship have yet to be announced. We hope to have this soon, as well as notice of Joe holding another 1 Million Dollar Challenge.

The “regular” Spartan Killington weekend which includes a Sprint, a Beast and an UltraBeast will be the weekend prior on September 12-13.
